Smart home rescue
Smart home driving you crazy?
We take over systems other people installed — audit what's there, fix what's broken, remove what isn't helping, and make the whole thing behave.
A surprising amount of our work starts with someone else's installation. Sometimes the original installer moved on. Sometimes the system grew device by device until nothing was coherent. Sometimes the house was bought with it already in place and no documentation at all.
We start with an audit: what's installed, what's actually working, what it's connected to, and what you want it to do. Then we give you an honest assessment — what's worth keeping, what should be reconfigured, and the (usually small) list of things genuinely worth replacing.
From there we rebuild the parts that need it: integrations, automations, dashboards, remote access, backups. And then we document it, so you're never again dependent on one person's memory.
Outcomes
What rescue work usually delivers
It works again
Devices back online, automations firing reliably, and the reasons documented.
The family can use it
Dashboards and switches rebuilt around how the household actually lives.
Fewer apps
Devices consolidated into one system wherever their platform allows it.
Nothing depends on one person
Written documentation, credentials handed over and automatic backups in place.
An honest keep/replace list
We'd rather reconfigure your equipment than sell you new equipment.
Someone to call afterwards
Ongoing support so the next update or new device isn't your problem.
