Home networking & Wi-Fi
A smart home is only as reliable as the network behind it
Home networks are a full service in their own right. We survey, design, supply, install, configure and support them — whether or not you ever want a smart home.
If your Wi-Fi is terrible, you're in the right place. This is not a side service we tacked on: a large part of our work is fixing home networks in Cape Town houses with thick walls, double storeys, garden cottages and long gardens that consumer routers were never going to cover.
We measure rather than guess. A coverage survey shows where the signal actually fails, and the design that follows places proper access points where they're needed, cabled with Ethernet and powered over PoE so they perform under load instead of relaying a weakening signal.
Where it makes sense we separate the network — a clean network for the family, a separate one for smart devices and cameras, and a guest network that keeps visitors away from everything else. Then we stay available to support it, remotely and on site.
Outcomes
What a properly designed network gives you
Signal in every room
Including the stone-walled one, the top floor, the cottage and the patio.
Calls that don't drop
Roaming between access points as you walk, without the call falling over.
Everyone online at once
Streaming, gaming, work calls and cameras coexisting without arguments.
Devices that stay connected
Cameras, TVs, speakers and sensors that stop dropping off overnight.
Visitors kept separate
A guest network with its own password and no access to your devices or files.
Someone to call
Ongoing remote support, monitoring and upgrades — not a once-off install.

- Racks, cabinets and tidy equipment areas
- Separate IoT and camera networks
- VLAN segmentation where appropriate
- Guest Wi-Fi with its own access
- Outdoor and garden Wi-Fi coverage
- Speed, roaming and channel optimisation
- Fault-finding on existing networks
- Remote support, monitoring and upgrades
Sound familiar?
If any of these describe your house, we can fix it
Most of these are design problems, not product problems — which is why buying another extender rarely helps.
- Wi-Fi drops in the bedroom, the garden flat or the patio
- Video calls freeze in the room you actually work in
- Streaming buffers the moment someone else is online
- The router the fibre company left can't cover the house
- Extenders that made it worse, not better
- Cameras and smart devices randomly going offline
