Where we come from

Making visual magic happen.

Our director spent years as a Special Effects Technical Director in theatre. The job was to take an idea — a moment a director could describe but not build — and make it real using lighting, technology, movement, effects and a lot of technical problem-solving.

Nobody in the audience sees the equipment. They see the moment. That is exactly the right instinct for a home: the technology should disappear, and what's left should be a house that feels considered.

Start with the idea or the problem. We'll work out the technology behind it.

An evening at home

A little bit of theatre. At home.

Not a demonstration. Just an ordinary Tuesday evening in a home where the technology was designed rather than bought.

Modern Cape Town home entrance lit warmly at night
  1. 18:42

    You turn into the driveway

The gate opens and the driveway and entrance lighting comes up ahead of you, at a level that suits the hour rather than blinding you.

  2. 18:44

    You walk inside

The living areas are already at a warm evening level. Nothing is announced, nothing needs an app — it simply looks like someone thought about it.

  3. 18:45

The house closes for the evening

Blinds draw as the light drops, and the temperature has been quietly moving towards comfortable since you were ten minutes away.

  4. 22:30

    Good Night

One press. Living areas shut down, doors and the gate are checked, and a soft pathway light stays on at 10% for anyone up in the night.

  5. That's the difference between adding smart devices and designing a smart home.

One system

Your smart home shouldn't need ten different apps

Most homes end up with a lighting app, a camera app, a gate remote, an aircon remote and a blind remote that nobody can find. We bring them together.

The result

One smart home

One app, or a wall panel, or a switch on the wall — whichever suits the person using it. Including the people in the house who never wanted an app.

Outcomes, not protocols

What would you like your home to do?

Pick the ones that sound like your house. That's usually where we start.

Lights that look after themselves

On at dusk, off when the room is empty, dimmed after midnight.

One place to control the whole home

Lighting, blinds, climate, cameras and gates in a single app or wall panel.

A home that feels safer

Cameras, sensors and access that tell you what's happening while you're away.

Less electricity wasted

Geyser, pool and standby loads on sensible schedules, with usage you can actually see.

Air conditioning that behaves

Rooms cool before you get home and switch off when nobody's in them.

Blinds and curtains that move

Closing against the afternoon sun, opening gently in the morning.

Gates and doors from anywhere

Let a visitor in from the office, and know when the kids are home.

Existing devices working together

The things you already bought, finally behaving as one system.

Wi-Fi that reaches every room

Including the thick-walled ones, the garden flat and the patio.

Ask us anything

Can my house…?

These are real questions clients have asked us. Almost none of them started with a product name.

Discreet minimal wall switch and dimmer on a warm plastered wall
  • Dim the hallway lights after midnight so nobody gets blinded at 2am?
  • Switch the aircon off when the room has been empty for twenty minutes?
  • Have one button that shuts the whole house down for the night?
  • Close the blinds when the afternoon sun hits the west side?
  • Light the driveway and entrance the moment the gate starts opening?
  • Tell me if the front door has been left open?
  • Warn me when the geyser runs outside of the hours I chose?
  • Let the housekeeper in with a code that only works on a Tuesday?

Probably. Ask us.

The complete service

From the first conversation to the support call two years later

We do the whole thing, and we remain responsible for it after installation. There is no point at which you're handed a box and wished luck.

01

Consult

We start with how you want to live in the house — not with a product list. Site visit, questions, and an honest view of what's worth doing.

02

Design

System architecture, product and compatibility selection, cable and device positions, and a written scope you can actually read.

03

Supply

We source the right equipment for the job across brands, rather than pushing one range because it's what we stock.

04

Install

Neat, documented installation. Where the work is regulated electrical work, it's carried out by qualified, registered electrical contractors.

05

Configure & Automate

Scenes, schedules, presence, dashboards and the small behaviours that make a home feel effortless. Then we test it properly.

06

Teach & Support

We hand it over so the whole household can use it — and we stay responsible afterwards with remote and on-site support.

Local Cape Town support

We're here, we come back, and you speak to the people who built the system — remotely or on site.

Designed, documented, tested

Every project is scoped in writing, installed neatly, tested properly and handed over with documentation.

Independent and multi-brand

We choose equipment to suit the home. Compatibility depends on the specific product, model and installation, and we confirm it during design.
